Once I have booked on to a workshop what will I receive from you?

a.

Once you have booked onto a workshop you will receive a confirmation email. I will then get in touch via email approximately one week before to give you a few more details. Please note you will not receive a physical ticket.

I have booked onto a workshop but would now like to change to another date, is this possible?

a.

Unfortunately it is not possible to change to another date but you are able to transfer your place to a friend. Please let me know of your intention to do in advance of the workshop.

q.

I have paid for a place on a workshops but am now unable to come, is it possible to have a refund?

a.

Unfortunately once you have booked your place on a workshop, places are not refundable. Please plan according once you have booked your place to ensure you are able to attend.

q.

I am meant to be coming to your workshop tomorrow but I am sick, please can I rebook?

a.

I appreciate that sometimes it may not be possible to attend due to sickness or other personal circumstances at short notice but unfortunately I am unable to transfer you onto another workshop.

The workshop I am interested in is sold out, do you have a waiting list?

a.

You are more than welcome to email me with your interest and if someone drops out at the last minute I will get in touch.

q.

How long are the workshops?

a.

Most of my workshops are two and a half hours long but please refer to the relevant workshop listing for full information.

q.

I am left handed, will I have problems?

a.

I have successfully taught many people who are left handed.
This style of calligraphy is more tricky if however you are an over-writer.
Please get in touch if you have any queries.

q.

Do I need to bring anything?

a.

You don't need to bring anything apart form lots of enthusiasm!
We will be using permanent ink so I always suggest not to wear anything too precious!

q.

How many people in each workshop?

a.

Generally numbers are kept under 10 people to allow for plenty of personal tuition but they may vary depending on the venue.

q.

I would like to purchase a place as a gift but do not want to commit to a date, do you offer a voucher?

a.

Please email and I can provide a voucher and will invoice you separately. The person can then email me and I will book them onto their preferred date.

What is included in the cost of the workshop?

a.

You will be provided with calligraphy supplies for the relevant workshop together with plenty of learning resources which you will use during the workshop and can take home afterwards.

q.

Can children attend your workshops?

a.

Children of secondary school age are welcome to attend with an accompanying adult.

q.

Do you offer private tuition?

a.

Yes, I offer one to one tuition for both beginners or those looking to take their calligraphy further. I can also teach private groups. Please get in touch to discuss.
