Hello, I’m Judy Broad, a modern calligrapher and stationery designer based in Surrey.
I create beautifully handwritten details and bespoke stationery for weddings, events and brands as well as teaching modern calligraphy through private, group and corporate workshops.
I love combining traditional craftmanship with a modern elegant style and I bring a personal approach to every project I work on.
Whether I am creating place cards for a wedding, hand-lettering pieces for a brand event or teaching someone calligraphy for the first time, it is always the small details I enjoy the most,

Calligraphy started as a creative outlet and gradually became my business. More than ten years later, I still love the variety it brings and the opportunity to work on such different and personal projects.
Over the years I have created calligraphy for weddings, private events, luxury brands and corporate clients as well as teaching hundreds of people the art of modern calligraphy
When I’m not working I love spending time with family and friends, walking in the Surrey countryside, reading, interiors and escaping to Cornwall whenever I can.
