It is always lovely to collaborate with other creatives. When an email from Kim Balasubramaniam popped into my inbox telling me about a shoot she was planning with the uber talented Zosia Zachary I hit the reply button straight away.
The shoot took place at Newington House, a stunning stately home in Oxfordshire. The house was built in the 17th century for a homesick Italian princess as a gift from her British husband. Therefore Kim and Zosia decided to embrace the history of Newington House. Amore Eterno retells the story of a modern Italian bride and British groom celebrating their marriage at this beautiful estate.
Kim and Zosia were Inspired by the elegant gardens and stunning interiors of the house. Therefore they chose a colour palette of dark blush pink, blackberry, gold and ebony. This set the tone perfectly for this understatedly elegant look.
Kim endeavoured to include plenty off Italian touches. For instance at each place setting there was a little gold leaf edged pouch containing golden sugared almonds, a nod to the traditional Italian bonbonniere. I always wondered where that the tradition of sugar almonds came from! The pouches were finished with sugar frangipani flowers and pretty pink calligraphed placement cards.
In addition we included lots of extra personal details in the stationery suite by including monograms, olive leaves, wax seals and beautiful hand dyed silk ribbons.

I often get asked by other creatives if they should collaborate on styled shoots. Personally I have always loved being a part of a them. Firstly you have the opportunity to work with other creatives. Secondly you get to be creative yourself and lastly you end up with some beautiful imagery for your portfolio.
Happy days!
I hope you have enjoyed a little glimpse into Amore Eterno.
Thank you for stopping by!
Judy
I joined Judy's group workshop at the Langham hotel and loved every moment of it. The set up was beautifully done with our own personalised place setting laid out with all the tools required for the session. Judy helped us all individually, giving time and assistance when needed as well as showing us things as a group. The whole class was fantastics.
